What you can do with the app is:
- calculate the monthly payment and see the effect of prepayment for new loans. You will be surprised how much you save when you prepay. Your freedom day looms closer as you prepay your mortgage
- see the monthly breakdown to maturity
- email your significant half or your broker the loan calculation (use the top right button on the main page.
- compare any two loans at origination. Cut through the confusion with Mortgage comparison tool (includes origination fee calculation). The tool shows you the best mortgage by interest paid and term.
- NEW FEATURE: You can now compare your existing mortgage with a new loan and see if it makes sense to refinance.
- set a deadline for full payment or a given balance (say your child is going to college and want your mortgage paid by then) and see how much you need to prepay to make that happen.
- payment calculator for car, credit cards or personal loans
- many charts to present the information in an intuitive and easily digestible fashion.
